Abstract：

??Currently, eco-village is one of the hot issues in international rural development, whose experience has good reference

value for our country rural construction. Based on the category research of eco-village abroad, the object of this article makes a deep analysis of the typical case of ecological restoration, ecoeconomic type, ecological residential type and ecological culture type, and summarizes the “doubled in hand and getting refined internally and externally” international experience of eco-village construction. That results in suggestions for better integrating the concept of ecological civilization into the Chinese rural development related to the objective of ecological construction, planning instrument, construction content and public participation.
