摘要：

城市风貌保护的重要性已得到全世界的公认和普遍重视，本文从我国现代化进程中城市风貌保护的紧迫性出发，着重介绍了国外城市在风貌保护方面的成功经验和案例。尽管国外城市从历史、政府体系以及政治等多方面与我国的城市不尽相同，但是期望本文能对中国的城市风貌规划和建设提供一些启示与借鉴。

Abstract：

The value of urban style and feature has been taken into account by the world. Starting from the exigency of protection of Chinese cities, this article reviews the successful practices and lessons on the protection of abroad urban style and feature. Although abroad cities are different from Chinese cities in terms of history, institution, and politics, it can be hoped that this overview will inspire similar action in Chinese cities.
