摘要：

现阶段我国城乡发展要求城市规划专业从业者拥有更完整、更多元的知识背景。研究城市规划与财政学等基础学科的交叉建设对我国城市规划的发展具有重要意义。本文首先从三个阶段回顾了20 世纪初至今美国城市规划和公共财政及其教育的发展；接着以10 所美国规划院校硕士项目为例，总结了其城市规划专业目前的学科体系和课程设置，展现了美国主流规划教育的发展方向；最后讨论美国经验对我国城市规划教育和实践的启示，希望我国的规划院校能健全学科体系，拓宽教育渠道和完善城市规划人才培养。

Abstract：

The current stage of China’s urban and rural development requires practitioners in urban planning to have a broader and more diversified knowledge base. It is important to understand the intersection of urban planning with finance for the future development of planning in China. This paper first reviews the development of urban planning and public finance and their education in the United States from the early 20th century to the present in three stages. Then it summarizes the current disciplinary systems and curriculums of the U.S. university urban planning programs by takingten graduate programs from the U.S. planning schools as examples, so as to observe the future trends of mainstream planning education. Finally, this paper discusses the implications of the U.S. experience for China’s urban planning education programs. It is hoped that planning universities in China can improve the disciplinary systems, broaden educational paths and enhance the training of urban planners.
