新都市制造业驱动下的城市更新实践——以纽约滨水工业地区为例
New Urban Manufacturing-led Urban Regeneration Practice: A Case Study of New York Industrial Waterfront

摘要:

本文以当下欧美大城市都市制造业回温为背景,阐述了城市更新中新都市制造业的积极作用,着重讨论了传统工业空间更新与新都市制造业之间的互利互融关系;并以美国纽约工业水岸更新的最新实践为例,分析以新都市制造业为动力机制的城市工业水岸更新的政策工具和规划策略及其有效性,探讨一种更为包容、更加综合且平衡多维价值的城市更新路径。


Abstract:

Based on the context of urban manufacturing revitalization in the big cities of Europe and America, the paper explores the positive role of new urban manufacturing in urban regeneration, and analyses the interaction and mutual benefit between the new urban manufacturing and the regeneration of traditional industry space. Taking the latest urban regeneration practice of New York City's industrial waterfront as an example, the paper also illustrates the policy tools, planning strategies and their effectiveness of urban manufacturing-led industrial waterfront regeneration, trying to promote a more inclusive, comprehensive and sustainable strategy and path of urban regeneration.
